I’m Ami Bornstein — a filmmaker and musician based in Nanoose Bay, BC.

For more than 15 years, I’ve filmed, directed, edited, lit, and color graded a wide range of projects. What matters most to me is creating work that feels honest, intentional, and thoughtfully crafted.

 

My sensitivity is part of how I work: I notice small details, listen carefully, and pay attention to the emotional tone of every project.
My background as a drummer shapes how I build structure and pacing, both on set and in the edit.

I prefer a boutique approach — working with a select number of clients so each project gets the focus it deserves. Whether I’m filming a business, an artist, or a real-life story, I aim for a calm, respectful process and a final video with clarity, depth, and a steady sense of rhythm.
